How many times have you seen the notice "CHECK YOUR UNIVERSITY E-MAIL DAILY!!"??  Do you really do it?  Does anyone?  Of course not. Your MSN notifies you when you have Hotmail e-mail, your Outlook bleeps at you whenever there's something new, and GMail is always worth a visit.

But still, University insists on sending important notices to your University e-mail account, so this needs to be monitored as well.  But you can do this WITHOUT having to check it every day.

Enter E-Mail Forwarding.

The nice chaps at CSC are well aware that we're all way too busy to check all our e-mail accounts daily, so they have created a simple feature to forward any mail sent to your University account (xxxxxxx@um.edu.mt) to any e-mail address you want, GMail, Hotmail, Yahoo, the one provided by your ISP, whatever...

Here's how, it only takes 5 minutes and you only need to do this once:

1. Go to http://www.csc.um.edu.mt/email/forwarding/
2. Log in with your CSC account (the one you use to log in to the computers in the CSC labs on campus)
3. Enter your personal e-mail address (GMail, Hotmail, etc) in the empty text box
4. Click 'Add E-mail Addresses'
5. Done!

That's it!  From now on, any e-mails sent to your University e-mail account will be forwarded to the e-mail address you choose, so you will never miss another University e-mail anymore.
